These are the terms on which Infinity Link provides LEX to law firms. They are written in plain language; the headings are part of the terms. How we handle your data is in the separate Privacy & data handling page, which forms part of these terms.

1. Who we are and what you are agreeing to
LEX is provided by Infinity Link ("we", "us"). It is a workspace for law firms. By creating a LEX workspace, accepting an invitation to one, or using LEX, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the firm whose workspace you use (the "Firm").
If you were invited by a Firm administrator, that administrator controls your access and can remove it. The Firm is responsible for everyone it invites.
2. The service
LEX helps a firm process documents (classification, extraction of facts, drafts, summaries and compliance flags), keep case and client records, notes and tasks, ask questions of an AI assistant called Lex, export drafts to Word, and, for administrators, track case values and fees.
LEX is in beta. Features will change, some may be withdrawn, and you may find rough edges. We will tell workspace administrators about material changes.
3. Not legal advice. You stay responsible.
LEX and Lex produce drafts, summaries and suggestions for licensed professionals to review. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and they do not know facts you have not given them.
The Firm and its lawyers remain solely responsible for reviewing, verifying and deciding what to do with anything LEX produces, and for meeting their professional obligations. Infinity Link does not practice law, and nothing in LEX creates an attorney–client relationship with Infinity Link.
4. Accounts and your team
Keep your sign-in details private and tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account. Administrators are responsible for who they invite, the roles they grant, and for removing people who leave the Firm.
5. Your content stays yours
The Firm owns the documents, records, notes, drafts and other content it puts into LEX ("Firm Content"). You give Infinity Link permission to host, store, process and transmit Firm Content only as needed to provide the service to you, including sending it to the AI provider named in our Privacy & data handling page.
You confirm that the Firm has the right to upload its content and to have it processed this way, including any client consents or confidentiality steps its rules require.
6. Acceptable use
Use LEX lawfully and for its intended purpose. In particular, do not:
- upload content you have no right to share with a service provider;
- try to reach another firm's workspace or data, or probe, scan or test our security without written permission;
- overload the service, automate access in ways we have not agreed to, or resell it;
- present AI output to a court, client or opposing party as verified without reviewing it;
- reverse engineer the service or remove our notices.
7. Fees and usage allowances
During the beta, pricing is whatever we agree with the Firm in writing. AI usage is subject to a fair-use daily allowance shown inside the app; if a Firm regularly exceeds it we will talk to the Firm before changing anything.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep LEX available and secure, but during the beta we do not promise a particular uptime. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice where that is practical. Keep copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
9. Ending the agreement
The Firm can stop using LEX at any time and ask us to close its workspace. We can suspend or end access for a breach of these Terms, for unpaid fees after notice, or if we discontinue the service.
When a workspace closes, the Firm can request an export of its content first. We delete the Firm's content 30 days after the workspace closes, except what we must keep by law or for accounting. Details are in the Privacy & data handling page.
10. Disclaimer and limits on liability
LEX is provided "as is" during the beta, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Infinity Link is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, or losses arising from reliance on AI output, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the Firm paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or one hundred US dollars if none were paid). Some laws do not allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as permitted.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your location gives you rights we cannot override. Before starting a claim, write to us at elixira86@gmail.com and we will try to sort it out informally.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version at https://asklex.legal/terms with a new effective date and, for material changes, email workspace administrators. Continuing to use LEX after the effective date means you accept the update.
